What happens when you mix expert skincare advice, cutting-edge melanoma detection insights, a fabulous dinner, and a sold-out crowd? You get one of the best Women in Healthcare Committee events yet!
On March 5, 2025, the Allegheny County Medical Society’s Women in Healthcare Committee took over the newly opened Lotus Room at Ritual House in Downtown Pittsburgh for an evening of knowledge, networking, and—let’s be honest—some much-needed self-care. With a packed house of healthcare professionals eager to learn, connect, and indulge in some top-tier skincare talk, this event was a smash hit.
The Experts Took the Stage
Dr. Nicole Velez led the charge with an engaging discussion on must-have skincare products, revealing how to seamlessly integrate them into daily routines (yes, even on those busy clinic days!). From sunscreen musts to powerhouse serums, attendees walked away armed with knowledge to keep their skin glowing and healthy.
Dr. Charles Mount followed with an eye-opening session on early melanoma detection. His insights on full-body imaging technology, including the game-changing Vectra system, left everyone in the room buzzing about the future of skin health and early intervention.
